Construction Manager – Southern California Public Works Projects
Position Overview
GK & Associates is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee public agency Capital Improvement Program (CIP) construction projects throughout Southern California.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee construction schedules, budgets, and contractor performance
- Coordinate with agency staff, inspectors, and consultants
- Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications
- Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations
- Lead project close-out and documentation
Requirements
- 8+ years of construction management experience
- Public agency or municipal project experience required
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Location
Southern California public agency project sites.
Compensation
$75 – $120 per hour, based on experience and project complexity.
