Construction Manager – Southern California Public Works Projects

Position Overview

GK & Associates is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee public agency Capital Improvement Program (CIP) construction projects throughout Southern California.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction schedules, budgets, and contractor performance
  • Coordinate with agency staff, inspectors, and consultants
  • Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications
  • Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations
  • Lead project close-out and documentation

Requirements

  • 8+ years of construction management experience
  • Public agency or municipal project experience required
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

Location

Southern California public agency project sites.

Compensation

$75 – $120 per hour, based on experience and project complexity.
