Construction Inspector – Southern California Public Agency Projects

Position Overview

GK & Associates is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to support public agency capital improvement projects throughout Southern California, including water, wastewater, streets, and utility infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily construction inspections and field observations
• Prepare daily reports, photo documentation, and compliance logs
• Verify work complies with approved plans and specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and agency representatives
• Support project close-out and record documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction inspection experience
• Experience with public works, water, or wastewater projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Location

Base location: Diamond Bar, CA. Regional coverage across LA, Orange County, and Inland Empire.

Compensation

$65 – $95 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
